Confidentiality
To ensure the confidentiality of all data, a minimum number of observations is required in order for a variable to be provided. Three organizations must report data for a variable in order for the median and mean to be displayed. Three organizations reporting at least four observations is required to display the 25th and 75th percentiles. In order for the 10th and 90th percentiles to be displayed, three organizations reporting at least 10 observations for a variable is required. Two hyphens are displayed when there are insufficient data for statistical generation.
Survey Usage
Compensation professionals who deal regularly with surveys are aware of the variance that may exist in survey data. Data may fluctuate slightly from year to year due to changes in the participant base. It is also important to note that: 1) within a sample, a significant amount of data may be reported by one organization; and 2) year-over-year analysis may be impacted by various factors (e.g., changes in the number of positions within families from previous year, organizations matching different positions from previous year, etc.). Mercer, PharmacyWeek or Pharmacy OneSource will not be responsible for any decision made or action taken in reliance upon the information contained in this report.
