PharmacyWeek Testimonial: Randal Hollenbach
Randal Hollenbach
Director of Recruitment
Sunbury Community Hospital
"PharmacyWeek did a superb job. Pharmacist recruiting can be a difficult slot to fill. We now have more serious/qualified candidates then we thought we would get. There is also a residual effect. PharmacyWeeks are still sitting in offices and I receive one to two calls per week. Great Job!"

Description of Services

The Suburban Breast Center is a service of the Suburban Hospital Healthcare System, a not-for-profit organization offering state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services in a safe and friendly community environment. The system is affiliated with a number of renowned local and national healthcare providers, including the National Institutes of Health, the National Rehabilitation Hospital and Mariner Post Acute Network.  Suburban Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and offers a comprehensive range of acute, ambulatory and ancillary services including 35 medical and surgical specialties. Primary service lines include emergency and trauma medicine, orthopedics, neurosciences, cardiology, oncology, behavioral health, pediatrics and senior care services.

The Suburban Wellness Centers mission is to promote, restore and maintain good health throughout the community by offering the most advanced fitness facilities, expert clinical staff, and quality wellness programming all with the peace of mind that comes from an association with one of the areas leading healthcare organizations. The cornerstone of the facility, Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness offers customized exercise programs for all ages and fitness levels, including programs for individuals with chronic health conditions. Amenities include specialized fitness equipment, a lap pool, gymnasium, racquetball courts, group exercise studios, a mind-body studio, and more.

Eating disorders are serious, potentially life-threatening problems that often manifest in adolescence. Many young men and women are unhappy with their bodies and the way they look, and may respond with severe dieting and other drastic measures to change their appearance. Eating disorders often occur together with other conditions such as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. Our multidisciplinary team, including a pediatrician, psychiatrist, licensed clinical social worker and nutritionist, is well qualified to address all of these complex issues with therapy, behavior modification and, when appropriate, medication. In addition, family participation in the therapeutic process is strongly recommended. Family members are an important source of support and encouragement. It is important to get help from qualified medical professionals who can guide and support both the patient and family during treatment and recovery. The sooner the eating disorder can be diagnosed and treated, the better the outcome.

Community Information

Downtown Bethesda is a thriving urban environment with hundreds of restaurants, shops and amenities. The city maintains three theaters for live performances, dozens of art galleries, and housing ranging from small and affordable to modern and luxurious. Bethesda is home to nearly 60,000 residents, whose median age is 42 years old. The average household income far exceeds the national average at around $100,000 per year.  Bethesda is an upscale enclave full of lively professionals. From families to singles, the city's residents are in interesting bunch, with a wide range of interests.

In the summer the city sponsors a children's street fair called Imagination Bethesda. Catering to those under twelve years of age, this day long event highlights Head Line 1cultural and educational activities, live entertainment, balloon artists, clowns and other unique performers.

And the free Summer Concert Series is fun for all ages. Unlike other cities, free concerts are presented several times each week, from May through August. There are evening concerts that draw families and young professionals alike. And afternoon concerts that are a refreshing break in the day for hard working folks downtown. This is a popular bag-lunch pastime, as busy professionals set up makeshift picnics to lunch outdoors while listening to live music.

Bethesda has a whole world of dining options. From American bistro to classic European dishes to homemade Asian delicacies, Bethesda has it all. This is one of the most epicurean districts in the D.C. Metro area, and diners flock here every night of the week. Following dinner, a plethora of nightlife awaits you. Late-night happy hour is a Bethesda tradition, and, rather than the rush to cocktails immediately following work, offers patrons to enjoy a leisurely drink at a more convenient time.
