With independent data gathering and analysis by Mercer , this survey continues efforts to bring the most up-to-date, best-of-category salary data to the highly competitive domain of pharmacy recruitment and retention. Drug Name: Cleocin HCl (clindamycin)
Therapeutic Classes: anti-infectives, lincomycin derivatives
Disease States: Appendicitis, Asphyxia, Diverticulitis, Diverticulitis with Hemorrhage, Gastrointestinal Diverticula, Gastrointestinal Diverticula with Hemorrhage, Heart Disease, Infection - Bacterial/Fungal/Protozoal/Viral, Infectious Endocarditis, Perforated Tympanic Membrane, Pleural Effusion, Pleuropulmonary Infection, Pulmonary Impairment, Threatened Abortion, Urinary Tract Infection
Interactions: No Major, 24 Moderate Drug-Drug Interactions Detected
Contraindications: Colitis/Enteritis (Noninfectious), Liver Disease, Renal Dysfunction
Adverse reactions: Gastrointestinal, Hypersensitivity, Cardiac, Hematological, Dermatological, Musculo-Skeletal, Hepatic, Renal, Genitourinary, Local, Nervous System
Usual Adult Dose: 450 to 900 mg IV every 8 hours.
