Assist the Pharmacist in prioritizing medication orders, and works closely with Pharmacy Management in determining
routine daily department needs. Lead Technician is responsible for all pharmacy technician activities and work schedules.
Provides direction and guidance to technicians in pharmacy drug distribution and operational matters. Assists Pharmacy
Management in reviewing technician performance and is involved in providing and ensuring that educational opportunities
are being pursued by each individual. Provides feedback to Pharmacy Management for annual performance assessments
and ensures that skill competency training is completed annually. Accomplished in performing all technician tasks and
functions, and is involved in helping teach technicians concerning new policies and procedures.

Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 522-bed acute care, two hospital system in Colorado Springs which includes Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center.
