UVANTA is looking for a key person to support our franchise pharmacy operations. This non-pharmacist position will require a strong understanding of LTC pharmacy practices including Data Entry, Billing, Medical Records, Order Processing and other aspects of LTC pharmacy operations. Knowledge of FrameworkLTC pharmacy software, DocuTrack software, TCGRx automated dispensing equipment and pharmacy billing and reimbursement practices is a plus. The person we are seeking must be able to understand and document pharmacy policies and processes as well as train and assist in the implementation of best practices in the franchise operations. This position requires a substantial amount of travel and candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years LTC Pharmacy experience
  • Experience with LTC Pharmacy software (preferably FrameworkLTC) 
  • Supervisory or management experience
  • Strong leadership and communications skills
  • Frequent travel required

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand all aspects of Pharmacy software and assist in training and support:
    - FrameworkLTC
    - ACCPAC
    - DocuTrack
    - Crystal Reports
  • Develop and document “Best Practices”:
    - Billing
    - Collections
    - TCGRx Processing
    - Data Processing
  • Provide support and training in Pharmacy practices and operations
  • Regulatory compliance training 
  • Provide support in new account transitions 
  • Update and maintain Operations Manual

  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability and willingness to build and lead strong effective teams
  • Ability to construct, analyze, and manage business and project budgets
  • Ability to maintain accurate, complete and confidential records
  • Strong computer skills
