Banner Lassen Medical Center is a 25 bed not-for-profit hospital located in Susanville, California and operated by Banner Health. BLMC provides 24/7 emergency care, general medical and surgical services, cancer care, ICU, maternal, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and a number of other related services.

The centralized Pharmacy is open 7am-3:30pm (M-F), 7am-3:30pm (Sat,) 7am-9am (Sun). After hours is supported by Remote Order Entry. The Pharmacy currently is supported by Cerner and Pyxis automation. EMAR/BVM are planned. In addition to the Director, there is a Pharmacist and 2 Technicians. The Pharmacy is managed by Comprehensive Pharmacy Services and this position is an employee of CPS.
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will provide support for clinical programs and practices within the hospital as well as fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy. You will expected to work at least 2 weekend days per month and 2 major holidays per year.
- BS or Pharm D degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
-Current CA Pharmacist license in good standing
-Minimum 1 year recent experience beyond the internship as a Pharmacist in a hospital or retail setting.
-Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns.
-Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff.
