Full Time - Pharmacy Technician
You’ll assist in various pharmacy activities, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, and other duties not requiring the review of a pharmacist. The majority of tasks and responsibilities are related to preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications. Other duties include maintaining patient records, and setting up, packaging, and labeling of medication doses and billing. You will perform job duties under minimal supervision within pharmacy standards, written procedures and guidelines, and state regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for the accurate completion of daily activities and the follow through of tasks to ensure completion.
The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, and Saturday/Sunday 8am-Noon. This position will work a day/weekend rotation.
Facility: Eagleville is a 288-bed non-profit hospital offering a variety of hospital and non-hospital programs for men and women in need of treatment for substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and other behavioral health problems. Located in a quiet suburban area near a large Metropolitan Area (Philadelphia) Eagleville Hospital is a well established privately owned drug and alcohol rehab facility. The acute inpatient hospital is expanding creating new challenges and opportunities for the pharmacy. The Pharmacy management is outsourced to CPS.
Pharmacy: This centralized pharmacy utilizes CPOE. Automation includes Siemens Sorian (EHR) and QS1 (Outpatient Billing only)
